What we collect

When you send an order request, an inquiry or a trade account application, we keep what you typed: your name, business, email address, phone number, delivery address if you gave one, and the products and notes on the request. That is what we need to confirm and fulfil an order and to answer you.

The order desk keeps your request in our own database so we can confirm weights and totals and so you can follow its status from the link in your confirmation email. Order requests from the same email address are grouped into an account so a repeat customer does not start from scratch.

Cookies

One cookie carries an anonymous identifier for the order you are building, for fourteen days, so your basket survives a page refresh. It holds no personal data. If you sign in to a trade account, a second cookie carries that account for a fortnight so you are not asked for a code on every visit. There are no advertising cookies and no analytics cookies set by this site.

Our site's traffic is counted in aggregate, per page and per day, without identifying you: no visitor identifier, no IP address and no browser fingerprint is stored.

Who else sees it

Card payments are taken by Stripe on their own page. Your card number is given to Stripe and never to us: we are told the amount, whether it succeeded, and the receipt. Emails from this site are sent through Resend. Shipping labels, when an order ships, are bought through Shippo and carried by the carrier named on your tracking, who receive the delivery address and phone number. The site is hosted on Vercel and its database on Neon. None of them are given your details for any purpose other than delivering our service to you.

We do not sell, rent or share your details with anyone else.

Your choices

Ask at luckyduckandswanprovisions@gmail.com to see, correct or delete what we hold about you, and we will do it. Order records are kept for as long as we need them for accounting.
